We are a family-run business, founded by Cristina and Jose Luis in 2016, with a deep passion for nature, travel, and, of course, cooking. With years of experience in the travel industry, they’ve shared their love for Peru with visitors from around the world.

Fourteen years ago, they ventured into a new passion: cooking, and founded Marcelo Batata Cooking Class. For the first time ever, Cusco had a cooking school dedicated to travelers.

Today, Ivanna Lescano stands proudly as one of the top cooking workshops in the city, continuing the legacy of excellence. We are dedicated to offering you an authentic Peruvian culinary experience, using only the finest, and fresh locally-sourced ingredients. Our dishes showcase the vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine, blending traditional and contemporary techniques.

Our team of talented chefs is committed to providing you with an authentic, hands-on, immersive cooking experience. Our spacious, welcoming workshop is designed for comfort and creativity, providing the perfect setting to learn and enjoy the art of cooking peruvian.
